Chapter 2 - Installation
Wiring the MCP to the Antenna - M5/M7 GyroTrac
If you are connecting the MCP to a TracVision M5 or M7 GyroTrac
configuration, follow the steps in this section to wire the MCP to the
GyroTrac ADCU.
1.
Connect the main control cable (DB9-male to DB9-male)
from the DB9 maintenance port jack on the ADCU to
the “Antenna Unit” jack on the MCP (see Figure 2-15).

2.
Connect the RF control cable (3-wires to DB9-female)
from terminals 58, 59, and 60 on the ADCU to the “RF
Port” jack on the MCP (see Figure 2-15).
CAUTION
For your own safety, disconnect vessel power and make sure the
circuit is dead before you begin wiring.
