Please check if hoist voltage selection is according to the power supply voltage network
WARNING
To avoid possible malfunction always check that the power supply agrees with that of the hoist and the type of current maximum vol-
tage. When connecting the power supply to the hoist, the terminal block must be used (refer to wiring diagrams).
To Branch circuit which supplies power to the hoist shall comply with the requirements of the National/Provincial/local electrical norms
Electrical connections must be performed by a qualified electrician and comply with the National Electrical code or any relevant regula-
tions.
Working in or around electrical equipment presents the danger of electrical shock. Disconnect power and lockout/tag-out according to
norms or safety procedures before removing cover or servicing this equipment.
Failure to properly ground the hoist or provide a proper power supply presents the danger of electric shock or fire. Permanently ground
electric equipment and provide a minimum 20A over current protected power supply.
Operating a hoist that is set up in 230 Volts with 400 or 460 volts will seriously damage the electrical motor and the electrical compo-
nents.
If that append the hoist must be completely verify re inspected and repaired.
4.1.2 – Electrical connection (see diagram page 81 to 116)
Electrical connection must be performed by a competent electrician
Always check that the power supply network agrees with that of the device and the type of current 5% mini-maxi variation from nominal
voltage.
When connection the power supply to the hoist, the terminal block must be used.(refer to electrical diagram and Fig. 11). Other type of
connecting block are prohibited.
The power supply must be provided via a flexible cable of a suitable size. In case of a hoist supplied with an electrical drive trolley, the
device must be connected to the electrical panel located on the trolley (refer to electrical diagram and Fig. 12).
4.1.3 – Connecting procedure on tralift TE
1) Remove the protective cover on the power supply side
2) Connect pendant control box to the pendant control box socket under the hoist
3) Insert the power supply cable through the cable gland
4) Connect the ground and the three phases wire to the terminal block
5) Replace the protective cover
6) Read carefully the section "final check before use"
4.1.4 – Connecting procedure on tralift TE with electric drive trolley
1) Remove the protective cover located on the trolley rep
2) Connect pendant control box to the pendant control box socket on the trolley electrical box
3) The small plug must be connected under the hoist
4) the big plug coming from the hoist will be connected on the side of the electric drive trolley .
5) Insert the power supply cable through the cable gland and rescue the cable gland
6) Connect the ground and the three phases wire to the terminal block
7) replace the protective cover on the electric drive trolley box
8) Read carefully the section "final check before use"
WARNING
If the hoist is not working maybe the phase order is not right. Please inverted 2 phases at the terminal block (See Fig. 11 / 12)
WARNING
The beam should be fitted with rail stops to prevent the trolley from falling off the beam.
WARNING
An excessively worn beam flange may fail. Inspect flange regularly for wear and replace if worn.
WARNING
The trolley must be properly adjusted to fit the beam flange to prevent the trolley from falling off the beam. Consult installa-
tion instructions provided by manufacturer with trolley and take notice of any limitations such as curve radius, (Fig. 20) etc.
