2.3 Usage in explosive atmospheres
For usage in explosive atmospheres, depending on request, the standard measuring
system is installed into an appropriate explosion protective enclosure.
The products are labeled with an additional
marking on the nameplate:

The "Intended use", as well as all information's for safe usage of the ATEX-compliant
measuring system in explosive atmospheres are contained in the
-User Manual.
The standard measuring system built-in into the explosion protection enclosure can
therefore be used in explosive atmospheres.
As a result of the installation of the measuring system into the explosion protection
enclosure and by the requirements of the explosion protection changes in the original
characteristics of the measuring system arise.
By means of the specified defaults in the
-User Manual it must be examined
whether the defined characteristics meet the application-specific requirements.
Safe usage requires additional measures and requirements. These are included in
front of the first commissioning and must be implemented correspondingly.
