17.1 General Errors

Possible Causes
Remedy
Factory Cal. Failure
Need Factory Service
The EEPROM chip which
contains the factory calibration
information has failed.
The unit must be returned to TPS for
service.
EEPROM Write Failure
Need Factory Service
User calibration settings have
been lost or corrupted.
Switch the meter OFF for 5 seconds and
switch back ON. If the problem persists,
return the unit to TPS for service.
Data Pointer Error
Logged Data Lost
Data stored in memory has been
lost or corrupted.
Switch the meter OFF for 5 seconds and
switch back ON. If the problem persists,
return the unit to TPS for service.
Waiting for Burette
Press Menu to exit
The
smart
CHEM
-Titro
could
not detect the Schott Burette due
to
1.
The burette is not connected.
2.
The burette is not switched
on.
Connect the burette, as per the details in
section 3.2.
Switch the burette on. The On/Off switch is
located on the rear of the unit.
Burette Not Detected
Cannot Titrate
This message appears when
communication with the burette
is lost some time after the meter
was turned on.
