When problem cannot be solved

Check in the following order:
(1) Remote control battery exhaustion
(2) Check junction circuit continuity o

fmain board and switch board

(3) Remote control malfunction
(4) Main body switch board malfunction
(5) Main board manlunction

Criteria for judgment of main circuit board malfunction
(1) Load which should be moving is not moving. If voltage is not detected at the terminal, the problem is the main board.
(2) Load which should be moving is not moving. If voltage is detected at the terminal, the problem is the load.
(3) When it is not determinable, disconnect the wiring of the load that is not moving from the main board, apply voltage directly

to the load to checkif the load is normal. If the load is normal, the problem is the main board.

Minimum set temperature.
Maximum fan speed.
Set the room temperature thermistor at
86˚F (30˚C) or higher by warming up with
body heat.

Compressor runs
within five minutes.
Cool side air blower
runs.
Warm side air
blower runs.

Compressor does not run
within five minutes. Cool
side air blower runs.
Warm side air blower
does not run.

Compressor does not run
within five minutes.
Cool side air blower runs.
Warm side air blower
runs.

Either cool side air blower
or warm side air blower
does not run.

(1) Thermistor

malfunction

(2) Main board

malfunction

(1) Malfunction of air

blower which is not
running

(2) Main board

malfunction

Any of the previous
three items does
not run.

Evaporator cools
down in approx.
ten minutes.

Evaporator does
not cool down
after ten minutes.

(1) Blockage of refrigeration

cycle

(2) No coolant
In the case of no coolant,
evaporator inlet port cools
down, but outlet port does not.

(1) OLP malfunction
(2) Compressor

malfunction

(3) Main board

malfunction

TROUBLESHOOTING

When problem is unclear (also when there is a cooling-down error)
