16.3 FUSE REPLACEMENT

If a lamp/light does not come on or an elec
trical device does not function, the corres
ponding fuse may have blown.
Check the fuse for each device. The fuse box
is located next to the battery. Access the fuse
box by opening the engine hood.
When replacing the battery fusible link or the
middle fuses in the relay block, ask the
Toyota dealer for the replacement.
See the fuse assignment table below for the
device corresponding to each fuse.

The fuse check and replacement procedure
is as follows:
1.
Turn off the key switch.
2.
Remove the fuse box cover and the fuse
clip attached to the fuse box.
3.
Remove the fuse by clipping with fuse
clip.
4.
The fuse is blown if its state is as shown
in the illustration. Replace it with a spare
fuse.
CAUTION! Use a fuse having the capa‐
city designated in the fuse assignment
table.
CAUTION! If the replaced fuse blows
again, ask the Toyota dealer for an in‐
spection.
