Connecting and Calibrating Meters

An analog meter can be connected to the FM terminal to act
as a frequency meter or an output current meter.
How to connect a meter to measure frequency
Set the
FMSL
value to “
0
”. It is set to “0” by
default.
How to connect a meter to measure ouput current
Set the
FMSL
value to “
I
”.
When measuring output current, use a meter
whose full scale rating (1mA or 7.5V) is equivalent
to 2.25 times the rated inverter current.
How to calibrate the frequency meter or ammeter
1) Start the drive. When an ammeter is to
be adjusted, connect the motor.
(See “OPERATIONS”.)
2) Increase the frequency within the safe range.
3) Press the MON key to display
AUI
.
4) Press the UP key six times to display
Fm
.
5) Press the ENT key.
6) The operation frequency or current (%) is
displayed on the display.
7) Adjust the reading of the analog meter to
the displayed frequency or current with
the UP or DOWN key.
8) After completing the adjustment, press
the ENT key.
9) Press the MON key twice. The current
frequency is displayed.
10) Stop the drive.
