Installing the modem jack

To install the modem jack, follow the steps below and refer to figures 4-34 and 4-35.

Set the

modem jack

to the system board and cover the

core

of modem cable with

insulator 2

Passing the modem cable through the slits, arrange the modem cable and connect it to the
connector

CN3001

on the system board.

Secure the modem cable with the

insulator 1

Connect the

modem cable

to the connector of the MDC.

Connect the

MDC

straight down to the connector

CN3000

on the system board.

Secure the MDC with the following

screws
