B. Two categories of Safety Instructions are included in this
Manual:

Product Warnings, (i.e., what must never be
done, to assure avoiding those hazards that could
cause bodily injury or property damage).
❖
User Directions, (i.e., what must always be done,
to assure the safe use of your External DVD
SuperMulti Drive).
C. The Safety Instructions contained in this Manual have
been categorized in accordance with the seriousness of
the potential hazards, through the use of Signal Words.
Those Signal Words, and their intended meanings,
are as follows:
IMPORTANT MESSAGES
This guide contains safety instructions that must be
observed in order to avoid potential hazards that could
result in personal injuries, damage to your equipment,
or loss of data. These safety cautions have been
classified according to the seriousness of the risk, and
the icons highlight these instructions as follows:
Indicates an imminently hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, could result in death or serious injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
Indicates a potentially hazardous situation which, if not
avoided, may result in property damage.
Provides important information.
