Installing HarnessEye/web

Click Add under the Trap destinations list box. The SNMP Service Configuration
window appears.

SNMP Service Configuration window

Enter the Host Name or the IP address(es) of the Management Proxy or Proxies that
this Agent will send traps to.

Install the SNMP Agent Software for any installed RAID Controllers

Refer to the RAID Controller documentation for specific instructions.

Before Installing the Manager Console Software

Install Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 or later

Refer to the Operating System documentation for Internet Explorer upgrade information.

Installing HarnessEye/web

To Install HarnessEye/web:

Log on as Administrator or as a user with equivalent rights.

Open Explorer and double-click SETUP.EXE in the Public\Utils\TOSHIBA\HEYE
directory on the Toshiba Software and Documentation CD.

The HarnessEye/web Setup Welcome Screen displays.
