Choosing Picture

Resetting Standard
Picture Settings
To return the customized
settings to standard settings:

Press P-STD.
The word “Custom” appears,
indicating that the current
settings are customized. If
“Standard” appears, the
TV/VCR is set for standard
picture settings.
´
Press P-STD again (before
“Custom” disappears) to
reset the standard settings.
When the word “Standard”
appears, the picture setting
is set to “Standard.” Press P-
STD to return to custom
picture settings.
Setting the Sleep Timer
The sleep timer automatically
turns off the TV/VCR at the time
you select. This is convenient if
you like to fall asleep with the
television on.

With the main menu on the
screen, press CH

until “Setup” is highlighted.

Press VOL+.
The Setup menu is displayed.

until “Sleep” is
highlighted.

Press VOL+ or VOL– to set
the length of time you want
the TV/VCR to remain on; 10,
20, 30, 60, 90, 120, 240, or 360
minutes.

Press MENU twice to exit the
menu system.
Using the On/Off Timer
This timer turns the TV/VCR on
or off at a specific time. You may
set the on time, the off time, or
both the on and the off time.
Whatever you choose, you must
turn the timer on after you set
the on or off times.
