6-2-10 White Balance Adjustment
6-2-10 (A) PREPARATION
1. Input a monochrome test pattern.
2. Set the Color and Brightness controls to
minimum, and the Contrast control to
maximum
3. Set the Red and Green Drive controls to center.
4. Set the Screen and Red, Green, and Blue Bias
controls to minimum (fully counterclockwise).
5. Set the Service switch to ÒServiceÓ.
6-2-10 (B) ADJUSTMENT
1. Slowly turn the Screen control
counterclockwise until a dim colored line (red,
green or blue) appears. Then turn it
counterclockwise until the line just disappears.
2. Adjust the Bias controls of the remaining two
colors to obtain a dim white line.
3. Set the Service switch to ÒNormalÓ.
4. Adjust Brightness to obtain a dim raster.
Adjust the Red and Blue Drive controls for
best gray tracking.
5. Adjust Brightness to obtain a bright raster, and
verify that bright areas of the screen are
white.
6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for best gray tracking.
