3. Mounting the Card and Connecting the Keyboard
Mounting the Operator’s Keyboard Control Card (JOKC1)
Mount the card on the PCI expansion slot of your PC. Any empty slot can be used for
mounting (When you mount in OIS-DS 52/61, SVR-DS61, and each OIS-DS/SMART,
please refer to each instruction).
For information on the procedures for disassembling and assembling your PC, refer to the
accompanying instruction manual.
CAUTION
•
Make sure to read your PC's instruction manual before starting the installation.
•
After installing the JOKC1 card, make sure to reconstruct the system by using the Setup
program. The current capacity of the JOKC1 card is up to 5V2A.
•
The current capacity is limited for the PC expansion slot. Before installing the JOKC1
card, make sure to check the current capacity of the PC's expansion slot.
The operator’s keyboard control card (JOKC1) is installed in accordance with the following
procedure.
1) Turn off the power of the PC unit and then remove the front panel.
2) Remove the unit cover.
3) Remove the single screw fixing the mask panel to remove the mask panel. Take good
care of the mask panel thus removed.
