2. Part Names and Operations
Operator’s Keyboard Control Card (JOKC1)
This interface card of a PCI expansion card type connects the OIS-DS main unit (your
personal computer) and the operator’s keyboard (UOPK8UE). The JOKC1 card is used by
being mounted on the main unit PCI bus expansion slot of the OIS-DS.
The names and functions of the card parts are described below.

1) Operator’s keyboard connector (CN1)
Refers to the connector for connecting the operator’s keyboard (UOPK8UE).
Connected with a specialized twisted pair cable.
2) Main unit connector (CN2)
Refers to the connector for connecting the COM1 port of the OIS-DS main unit.
Connected with a specialized RS-232C cable.
3) CPU operation display LED (RUN)
Indicates that the local processor on the operator’s keyboard control card (JOKC1) is
operating correctly. If the processor's operation is normal, the LED repeats its
blinking.
