Restore your system from a backup (Windows)
You can restore your computer to the condition as of the last backup using SystemSave. Before restoring, repair or replace
defective hardware on your computer. During the restore process, your system will lose any data stored on your computer
after the last full system backup.
1
You need to purchase a new, blank hard drive. Before purchase, make sure that the new drive has enough capacity to
hold all of the used capacity of the old hard drive.
During the restore process, the software checks the available capacity of the new drive. However, we recommend that you verify
the capacity before you begin the restore process.
2
Make sure that your computer is turned off.
3
Replace the hard drive in your computer with the new hard drive. Be sure to follow the manufacturer's instructions.
4
Turn on your computer, and use the system BIOS to specify USB as a bootable drive. Check your computer manual or
call your computer manufacturer’s technical support for instructions.
Toshiba technical support cannot provide instructions for specifying a USB as a bootable drive in your computer system BIOS.
