Link indicator (green)
This indicator glows green when the computer is
connected to a LAN and the LAN is functioning
properly.
2 Universal Serial
Bus Ports
The Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports comply
with USB 2.0 standards, which enable data
transfer speeds 40 times faster than the USB 1.1
standards. (The ports also support USB 1.1)
Keep foreign objects out of the USB connectors. A pin or similar object
can damage the computer’s circuitry.
Operation of all functions of all USB devices has not been confirmed.
Some functions might not execute properly.
DC IN 19V
The AC Adaptor connects to this socket. Use
only the model of AC Adaptor that comes with
the computer. Using the wrong adaptor can
damage your computer.
External monitor port
This 15-pin port lets you connect an external
monitor.
Parallel port
This Centronics-compatible, 25-pin parallel port
is used to connect a parallel printer or other
parallel device. This port supports Extended
Capabilities Port (ECP) standard.
i.LINK (IEEE1394)
port
Some models in this series are equipped with a
i.LINK port. Connect an external device, such as
a digital video camera to this port for high-speed
data transfer.
