Connecting your TV
Media Renderer

From the PREFERENCES menu, select Media
Renderer Setup and press

Device Name Setup
The TV’s device name as a DMR can change� The device
name can be confirmed from the DMC.

Select the Device Name field and press

Software Keyboard window will appear�

Input the Device Name by using the Software
Keyboard (

page 46)� To save your setting, press
the BLUE button�
Note:
The Device Name can be up to 127 characters
long.

Select Done , and then press
Q

Web Password Setup
This setup determines the password that is necessary for
the DMC to access built-in web pages on the DMR�

From the Media Renderer Setup menu, select
Web Password Setup , and press
Q
� Select
the Password field and press
Q
� The Software
Keyboard window will appear�

Change the password by using the Software Keyboard
(

page 46), and then press the
BLUE
button�
Notes:
• The Web Password can be up to 15 characters
long.
• Only the password can be changed. User ID
cannot be changed.

Select Done , and then press Q �
Notes:
• Some DMCs can view or modify the device name
of the DMR.
• Depending on the TV’s state, it may not be possible
to set the device name from the web page.
• Review the owner’s manual of the DMC to confirm
the method for accessing web pages.
Media Controller Setup
You can limit which DMC can control this TV�
If Access Control is enabled, only those DMCs with a
check will be allowed to control the TV�

Select Media Controller

and press Q �

Press s or r to select the item you want to accept,
and press Q � A check will appear in the box�
To remove the check, press Q again�

Notes:
• You can select up to 8 DMC devices.
• If you would not like to limit the DMCs for this TV,
set Access Control to Off .
• Devices other than DMC may be displayed in the
list. Confirm the MAC address of DMC and set it.
Maximum Volume Setup
This feature allows you to set the maximum volume of the
TV when it receives volume operation commands from a
DMC�

Maximum Volume Setup , and press

to
adjust to the desired volume�
Notes:
• The TV’s remote control can set volume regardless
of the value of
Maximum Volume Setup
.
• When DMR playback is ended, the TV volume will
return to the value in effect when DMR playback is
started.
Using the Media Player
This TV allows you to enjoy movie (DivX ® ), music (MP3)
and photo files stored on a USB 1 device or photo files on
a SD Memory Card�
Moreover, you can also play photos, movies or music
files from your PC by connecting the TV to your home
network�
