Adjusting the picture
Toshiba HDTVs provide a series of preset Picture Modes with
color, contrast and other settings specifically tuned for different
types of video content. These Picture Modes include Store,
Dynamic, Standard, Movie, Game, and PC. Your personal picture
quality adjustments will also be saved as preferences in each Picture
Mode for complete control of your viewing experience.
Selecting the picture mode
You can select your desired picture settings from the modes
described below.
Mode:
Description:
Dynamic
Maximizes contrast, color saturation, sharpness, gray scale, and
brightness to create more vivid and dynamic images.
Standard
Standard picture settings.
Movie
Optimizes the backlight, contrast, brightness, color saturation,
sharpness, color temperature, gray scale, noise reduction and motion
compensation to create the perfect picture settings for watching movies
in a dark room.
Game
Game Mode reroutes the video signal to bypass select internal TV
circuitry and shorten signal-to-screen time for reduced controller delay
and faster video gaming action.
PC
Fine tunes the video processing and optimizes sharpness, color
saturation, aspect ratio, color temperature and noise reduction to produce
the best picture settings when displaying video from a PC or a notebook.
Store Mode is only available if the TV is set to Store Mode at initial setup.
This option is hidden in the Home Mode.
When the TV is set to
