4.  Route the upper mower belt around the left hand 

mower spindle pulley and the two idler pulleys (Fig. 
633).

8.  Lower the mower deck so it is resting fl at.

9.  Install the mower deck to the tractor. Refer to “46” 

Mower Deck Installation” on page 7-72.

6.  Position the left hand mower deck belt cover onto 

the mower deck (Fig. 635).

7.  Install 3 self-tapping screws securing the left hand 

mower deck belt cover to the mower deck (Fig. 636).

5.  Tighten the two nuts on the upper idler pulleys (Fig.
