Stopping the Machine
To stop the machine, move the traction-control levers to
N
EUTRAL
, and then move them to the L
OCKED
position,
disengage the power takeoff (blade-control switch (PTO),
and turn the key in the ignition switch to the O
FF
position.
Set the parking brake when you leave the machine; refer to
Adjusting the Parking Brake (page 48)
. Remove the key from
the ignition switch.
CAUTION
Children or bystanders may be injured if they
move or attempt to operate the machine while it is
unattended.
Always remove the ignition key and set the parking
brake when leaving the machine unattended, even
if just for a few minutes.
Adjusting the Height of Cut
Using the Transport Lock
The transport lock has 2 positions, and is used with the
deck-lift pedal. There is a LOCK position and an UNLOCK
position for the T
RANSPORT
position of the mower deck
