WARNING
Charging the battery produces gasses that can
explode.
Never smoke near the battery and keep sparks
and flames away from battery.
4. When the battery is fully charged, unplug the charger
from the electrical outlet, then disconnect the
charger leads from the battery posts.
5. Install the battery onto the platform (Figure 5).
6. Secure the battery in the chassis with the bars and
nuts removed previously (Figure 5).
7. Connect the positive (red) cable to the positive (+)
battery post (Figure 5). Slide the rubber cover over
the battery post.
WARNING
Incorrect battery cable routing could damage
the tractor and cables causing sparks. Sparks
can cause the battery gasses to explode,
resulting in personal injury.
• Always disconnect the negative (black)
battery cable before disconnecting the
positive (red) cable.
• Always connect the positive (red) battery
cable before connecting the negative (black)
cable.
8. Connect the negative (black) cable to the negative
(-) battery post (Figure 5).
Important:
Ensure that the battery cables do
not contact any sharp edges or each other.
9. Install the battery cover (Figure 5).
