Operation
Safety instructions for operation
Observe the following safety information for operation:
•
The operator must be instructed on how to handle the
control or the controlled door system and loading bridge and
be familiar with the applicable safety regulations.
•
Comply with the accident prevention regulations and
general safety regulations relevant to the field of application.
•
Check the control and the controlled door system and
loading bridge for visual defects before use.
•
If you detect any safety-relevant deficiencies, decommission
the door system and loading bridge and report all defects to
the responsible line manager.
•
Have the deficiencies remedied immediately.
•
If the operational behaviour of the door system and loading
bridge changes, switch the system off immediately.
Recommissioning must be prevented. Notify the operating
company of the change.
CAUTION
Crush hazard and risk of being struck by the
closing door
Persons can be struck when the door is closed
or collide with the door.
•
The door must be visible from the place of
operation.
CAUTION
Tripping or falling hazard when loading!
With the control switched off, triggered emer-
gency stop switch or active restart lock, the float-
ing position of the loading bridge is not active
and the vertical movements of the truck are not
balanced out.
•
It is not permitted to drive on the loading
bridge until restart.
Commissioning of the loading bridge
1.
Switch the main switch to the "I" (On) position.
2.
Briefly actuate the
button.
Functional description for the loading bridge operation
During operation, note that a green status LED (left
above each button) signalises whether the desired function is cur-
rently enabled for operation.
Lifting
Hold the
button: the loading bridge is lifted. After letting go of
the
button, the loading bridge is lowered automatically.
Extending the support
The
button for extending the support will only be re-
leased if the loading bridge has been lifted for approx. 2 seconds
(
button).
Press the
button to extend the support. Lifting and lowering
movements will be blocked. By actuating the
button, the sup-
port will be retracted simultaneously while the loading bridge is
being lifted. If automatic retraction is set, the support retracts for
the preset time.
Floating position
After letting go of the lifting
button, the loading bridge is
lowered onto the truck with the support and is in floating position.
The loading bridge follows the vertical movements of the truck.
Restart lock
After switching the main switch or emergency stop switch back
on, the restart lock is active. The yellow warning indicator flashes
in the display.
In order to deactivate the restart lock, briefly actuate the
but-
ton.
Return / loading bridge in resting position
The RETURN button will only be active after actuating
the
and
buttons.
As soon as the loading process is completed, you can move the
loading bridge back to its resting position by actuating the RE-
TURN button. The loading bridge is lifted and then lowered auto-
matically until it reached its resting position, without a button be-
ing actuated.
Auto button
The AUTO button will only be active if the loading bridge has
been positioned on the vehicle. By briefly pressing the AUTO but-
ton, the loading bridge will automatically move back into resting
position. Afterwards, the door will automatically move into posi-
tion CLOSED without a button being actuated (only possible in
pulse operation OPEN / CLOSE).
Automatic return (optional)
When the truck leaves, the loading bridge automatically starts
moving into its resting position and the door closes. This function
is only possible if respective sensors are used. Moreover, an op-
tical and acoustic signal have to be installed.
