7. Assembly
Always remove the battery before attempting any installation or adjustment work or changing attachments
or accessories. Inadvertent operation of the on/off switch (10) can otherwise cause injury.
a) Attaching/replacing the saw blade
• Press the button for the motor axle lock.
• Remove the screw and washer from the motor axle.
• Open the oscillating guard (3) by turning the corresponding handle (2).
• Place the saw blade with the hole onto the motor axle.
• Observe the direction of rotation of the saw blade. The direction of rotation
must match the arrow on the guard.
• Place the disc onto the motor axle so that the flat areas of the disc engage with
the motor axle. Do not insert the disc the wrong way (see figure). The disc must
sit closely against the saw blade.
• Secure the saw blade with the previously removed screw.
• Lock the motor axle again by pressing the button for the motor axle lock.
