Observe the following notes in operation of the device:
• Keep all body parts away from the heating element (9) and the heat shield (10), including the conical
nozzle (11). Do not touch any hot surfaces before they have cooled off entirely. There is a danger of
burns!
• The product performance may reduce at cable lengths exceeding 25 metres due to the voltage drop.
• If you use a cable drum as an extension, it must be unrolled entirely.
• The line cross-section of the extension cord must be at least 1.5 mm².
• The product must only be taken into operation outdoors.
• The "air intake openings" must not be clogged or covered.
• For this, observe that the air exit openings at the "conical nozzle" are not clogged and that the "conical
nozzle" is not twisted and thus impairing the hot air flow.
• Never point the hot-air flow at the connection cable or any flammable or explosive substances, people
or animals.
• To minimise the danger of fire, the product must not be operated in one and the same location for more
than 30 seconds. Take breaks of 10-15 seconds in between.
Note:
The product is also suitable for igniting barbecue embers in a charcoal barbecue outdoors. For this, hold
the conical nozzle of the activated product close to the charcoal. Once the charcoal starts to glow, the hot
air flow will cause the flame to burn. Now the product must be held at a larger distance from the coal.
CAUTION!
Danger of fire from flying sparks! Hold the device at a larger distance from the charcoal to avoid flying
sparks.
