3. Intended Use
This device is suitable for personal outdoor use in the household and yard area and for amateur gardens.
Compliance with the enclosed operating instructions is a prerequisite for proper use of the device. The operating
instructions also state the operating, maintenance and servicing conditions.
The device serves solely to remove wild growth between pavement plates, on paved areas, at brick walls, in beds and
lawns during the growth period.
The device can also be used to ignite barbecue charcoal in outdoor barbecues. Observe the usage notes and provi-
sions of the barbecue manufacturers.
CAUTION!
Danger from non-intended use! The device may pose dangers are non-intended use. Therefore,
observe the following safety notes:
• Use the device only as intended.
• Observe all notes and information in the operating instructions.
Foreseeable misuse
The device is not intended as a heater in the household area, for thawing ice and snow or other areas of use not
named here. The device must not be used in wet weather.
Independent changes at the device or unintended use exclude liability of the manufacturer for resulting damage.
Residual dangers
This device corresponds to the recognised rules of the art and the relevant safety provisions! Nevertheless, the follow-
ing risks cannot be generally excluded when using the device:
• Danger to life and limb of the person who operates the device or other person in the work area of the device.
• Impairment caused at the device.
• Impairment or damage caused at other property.
