Lights
External lighting consists of the LED position / strobe lights that are
located in the wingtips and of the landing light which is located in the
lower engine cowling. The switch NAV LIGHTS switches position lights
and the switch STROBE switches on the strobe lights. The switch
SOCKET 12V/LANDING LIGHT powers the on-board 12V/1A socket
and Landing Light. Option to power on-board 12V/1A socket and
Landing Light is selected by TOGGLE SWITCH. Primary the TOGGLE
SWITCH is set to SOCKET 12V position. To power Landig Light it must
be switched to UP positon – LANDING LIGHT.

Position / Strobe light
Removal
▶
Set the MASTER, INSTR, NAV LIGHTS and STROBE switches to OFF
▶
Remove seat (left/right)
▶
Unplug STL11A/STR12A connector
▶
Unscrew the screw (4, Figure 20) and carefully release the light (1)
▶
Disconnect the wires (3) using soldering iron and remove position /
strobe light (1) with the gasket (2)
Installation
▶
Pass the wires (3, Figure 20) through the appropriate hole in the
gasket (2).
▶
Connect the position / strobe light wires (3) using soldering iron (see
Wiring Manual).
▶
Set the position light (1) with the gasket (2) to the wing tip (5) and
fasten it with screw (4).
▶
Connect STL11A/STR12A connector.
▶
Set the MASTER, INSTR, NAV LIGHTS and STROBE switches to ON and
check the correct function of position / strobe lights.
▶
Set the MASTER BAT, NAV L, and STROBE switches to OFF
▶
Install seat (left/right)
