3.10 Manual Operation
Used to dispense feed by supplementing
feed dispensing runs already performed via
Feed now,
EasyFeed
or
Automatic Dispensing.
Note that in
Manual
driving mode the machine
will have more jerky movements than when
the machine is driven in programmed feeding
modes.
• Select Discharge side for machines
equipped with side dispensers.
• Green key displays the enabled side. The
belt starts to rotate when Start Forage and/or
Start grain feed is pressed.
• Start FORAGE
− Drum starts up and
conveyor belt begins to rotate. Green key
displays enabled feeding. Drum stops when
the same key is pressed. The side dispenser
rotates for several seconds before it stops.
• Start GRAIN FEED −
Grain feed dispenser and side
dispenser start to rotate. Green key displays
enabled feeding. Grain feed stops
when the same key is pressed. The side
dispenser rotates for several seconds
afterwards. Grain feed stops automatically
when the programmed quantity has been
dispensed.
• Note!
Manual grain feed dispensing only
applies to grain feed 1
• Machine speed
can be adjusted in the fi eld
or using the speed keys. +/- 10% for each
press.
• Note!
A higher machine speed results in less
feed dispensed per metre driven.
• Grain feed
amount is adjusted in the fi eld.
Here too, a higher machine speed results in
less grain feed per metre driven. When grain
feed is dispensed once, the value is reset to
the programmed value and is ready for the
next feeding occasion.
