Overload protection
The overload protection may be activated in the following circumstances:
• If you work too quickly.
• Heavy cutting conditions.
• Where there is too much resistance against the saw chain.
This product features a battery protection, which cuts off the power when the
product is overloaded.
1. Remove the product from the work piece to remedy the overload.
2. Let the product cool down for 15 - 30 minutes (until the battery temperature
reduces to 65 - 75 °C) and eliminate the cause before using the product
again.
3. Press the lock-off button (16), then squeeze the on/off switch (17) to restart
the product. If the product is not switched on, replace / recharge the battery
pack and repeat the action.
Low voltage protection
When the product fails to be switched on; or the product runs intermittently
afterward, the battery pack may have been at low voltage level. Let the battery
pack completely cool down and then recharge the battery pack.
On/off switch
1. Press the lock-off button (16) and hold it in position (Fig. 19, step 1).
2. Squeeze the on/off switch (17) to switch the product on (Fig. 19, step 2).
Release the lock-off button afterward.
3. Release the on/off switch (17) to switch the product off.

WARNING! The product will continue to work for some time even
after the motor has been switched off! Wait until it comes to a
complete stop before you put the product down!
