The direction of the saw chain ‘cutters’ must be same
as indicated by the symbol and arrow on the guide bar!
4.
Align the saw chain (11) and guide bar (12) assembly with the drive
sprocket (10) and the mounting bolt (9). Lay the saw chain (11) around
the drive sprocket (10) and then lower the guide bar (12) to install it to the
mounting bolt (9) (Fig. 3).
5. Make sure the tension pin (8) is inserted into the lower hole on the guide
bar (12). Screwing the tension screw (7) in to adjust the tension pin (8) to
the end of slot with one suitable screwdriver.

The saw chain movement is as indicated by the arrow. Make sure the saw
chain (11) is properly placed over the sprocket wheel (12a) of the guide bar
(12) (Fig. 4).
