Troubleshooting

Suspected malfunctions are often due to causes that the users can fix themselves. 

Therefore check the appliance using this section. In most cases the problem can be 

solved quickly.

WARNING!

 

Only perform the steps described within these instructions! 

All further inspection, maintenance and repair work must be performed 

by an authorised service centre or a similarly qualified specialist if you 

cannot solve the problem yourself!

1. No steam comes 

out of the nozzle on 

the steam gun.

1.1  No water in the water tank.

1.2  The working temperature 

has not reached.

1.1  Refill the water tank.

1.2  Wait until the steam 

ready light turns green.

2. Surfaces become 

cloudy, streaky or 

spotty after steaming.

2.1  The floor cloth or brush 

cover is too wet or dirty.

2.2  The steam gun is directed 

at one same spot for too 

long.

2.3  Hard water is used.

2.1  Disconnect and change 

with a dry, clean floor 

cloth or brush cover.

2.2  Do not direct the steam 

jet at one same spot for 

more than 15 seconds.

2.3  Use distilled water.

3. Floor head is hard

to move.

3.1  The floor cloth or brush 

cover is not attached 

correctly.

3.2  The floor cloth or brush 

cover is too wet or dirty.

3.1  Disconnect and refit 

the floor cloth or brush 

cover.

3.2  Disconnect and change 

with a dry, clean floor 

cloth or brush cover.

4. The steam ready 

light illuminates red 

and green alternately 

during use.

This is normal and indicates the appliance is heating up to 

the desired temperature. The steam ready light stays green 

when it is ready to use.

Recycling and disposal

Waste electrical appliances should not be disposed of with household 

waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your local 

authority or local store for recycling advice.
