Loudspeaker, ringing tone and earpiece settings
On the base station
Ringing volume (ringing tone)
There are 10 levels (0-9) for setting. Level 0 = ringing tone off.
MENU
Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 4 using the arrow key.
Select 4
Base Tones
Press the Select 4 key.
Select 1
Ring Volume Press the Select 1 key.
e.g. 2:
The current volume can be heard and the level
is displayed. Select the desired level using the
arrow or number key. Level 0 = ringing tone
off.
OK
Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Ringing melody
You can select from 10 melodies (0-9).
MENU
Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 4 using the arrow key.

Base Tones
Press the Select 4 key.
Choose Select 2 using the arrow key.

Melody
Press the Select 2 key..
e.g. :5
The set melody is played and is displayed
(melody 0-9). Select the desired melody using
the arrow or number key.

Turning emergency call mode on/off
Important:
Before you turn on emergency call mode, it is necessary to store the
emergency numbers!
MENU
Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 5 using the arrow key.
Select 5
Emergen Call Press the Select 5 key.
Enter PIN
Enter the 4-digit PIN.
OK
Press the OK key.
Select 1
Emerg. Mode Press the Select 1 key.
Select On or Off using the arrow key.
OK
Press the OK key.

Sending out an emergency call
When the emergency call key
is held down for a few seconds
, up to 4
stored emergency numbers are dialled one after another.
Hold down
the emergency call key for a few
seconds. The following appear in the display:
- the emergency no. (1-4) currently being
dialled,
- the set duration for the active connection,
- the time in which the number will be dialled.
