Hands free mode
On the handset
In hands free mode, you can place the handset vertically, leaving your hands
free. Other people can listen and join in. When dialling, for example, you will
hear the ringing tone without having to hold the handset to your ear.
During a call:
Turning on hands free mode: Press the
loudspeaker key.
Turning off hands free mode: Press the
loudspeaker key. The call is continued using
the handset.
Hands free when dialling / accepting a call:
Turning on hands free mode: Press the
loudspeaker key.
Remark:
You cannot end a call using the loudspeaker key. The loudspeaker is turned
off, but the line remains busy. Press the Lift / Replace key to end a call.
On the base station
Hands free mode on the base station is automatically set, when making a call
using the speed dialling keys (see Page 28). In this mode, it is not possible to
switch to handset mode.

After Reset all memories the room monitoring code is retained. The call
numbers entered for the police and fire service are also not deleted.
