Loudspeaker, ringing tone and earpiece settings
Earpiece volume
Setting the earpiece volume (levels 1-4) in the telephones idle mode:
MENU
Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 3 using the arrow key.
Select 3
Handset Tone Press the Select 3 key.
Choose Select 2 using the arrow key.
Select 2
Earpiece Vol. Press the Select 2 key.
e.g. 2:
The current volume level is displayed. Select
the desired level using the arrow or number
key.
OK
Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Setting the earpiece volume (levels 1-4) during a call:
The line is busy:
e.g. 2:
The current volume level is displayed. Select
the desired level using the arrow keys.
The volume is adjusted immediately.
Remark:
If you change the earpiece volume during a call, the change is only valid for
the duration of that call.
Ringing volume (ringing tone)
There are 10 levels (0-9) for setting the ringing tone. Level 0 = ringing tone
off.

Emergency call mode
MENU
Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 5 using the arrow key.
Select 5
Emergen Call Press the Select 5 key.
Enter PIN
Enter the 4-digit PIN.
OK
Press the OK key.
Choose Select 3 using the arrow key.
Select 3
Call Seq.
Press the Select 3 key.
e.g. 9
The set number of sequences is displayed.
Set the desired number (1-9) using the arrow
key or enter it using the number key.
OK
Press the OK key.
Select further settings. Or
Press the R key to leave that menu level.
Pause after unsuccessful sequence
You can set the duration (1-9 minutes), for which the telephone waits after an
unsuccessful sequence.

Press the Menu key.
Choose Select 5 using the arrow key.
Select 5
Emergen Call Press the Select 5 key.
Enter PIN
Enter the 4-digit PIN.
OK
Press the OK key.
Choose Select 4 using the arrow key.
Select 4
Pause Time
Press the Select 4 key.

The set pause duration is displayed. Set the
desired pause duration (1-9 minutes) using the
arrow key or enter it using the number key.
