Use
1. Plug the appliance into a socket.
2. Insert one or two slices of bread or other appropriate pastry into the toasting slots.
3. Choose the required browning level (1 – minimum, 7 – maximum). When using it for the first time, it’s recommended to set it to
level 3. Different kinds of pastry require different settings.
4. Push the lever down until you hear a click. Toasting will begin automatically. If the toaster is not plugged in, the lever will not stay
down.
5. The toaster will turn off automatically when the set browning level has been reached. The bread will pop up, so it can be removed
easily. The toasting procedure may be stopped at any time by using the CANCEL button.
6. REHEAT – after setting the REHEAT level, the bread heats up but is not browned further; after 30 seconds the toaster switches off
automatically and the bread pops up.
TOASTING FROZEN PASTRY:
When inserting a frozen pastry into the toaster, the procedure is the same. After pushing the lever
down, press the DEFROST button.
Maintenance
This toaster has an integrated crumb tray which is easy to remove and keeps the toaster and the surrounding area clean. Always
empty the tray after the toaster has cooled down and after the toaster has been unplugged. The tray may be washed. Put it back in
the toaster only after it has fully dried.
Crumbs that remain inside the toaster on the heating element may be removed carefully with a brush. The outside surface may be
washed down with a damp cloth. Do not use sharp items or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning and maintenance.
