7.2.7 The electrical cutting height adjustment does not work

Connect a voltmeter to cutting
height contact front to the right.
Does the voltmeter display
12 V with alternating polarity
when the switch is activated
between its positions?
No
Replace the switch
at the control panel.
No

Connect a voltmeter to cutting
height motor terminals in the
cutting deck.
Does the voltmeter display
12 V with alternating polarity
when the switch is activated
between its positions?
Replace the cutting
height motor.
Replace/repair the
cable and cutting
heiht contact.
At the sand spreader contact rear;
Connect a voltmeter to 31 (earth)
and 54 (orange).
AND
between 31 (earth) and 58
(black).
Activate the switch between its
positions.
Does the voltmeter display 12 V in
both measurements?
No
Yes
Repair the sand spreader.
At the front connector sockets C
and B; Connect a voltmeter to
earth and C1 (black).
AND
between earth and B7 (orange).
Activate the switch between its
positions.
Does the voltmeter display 12 V in
both measurements?
Yes
No
Replace the sand spreader
switch at the control panel.
Clean the connector sockets
C and B (C1 and B7)
