Brake function
The switch PTO1 is just turned off and the
slide returns to its dwell. The left valve is
open and the right valve is closed.
The pressure in the feeding line
disappear, but the implement tools will
continue rotate due to its kinetic energy
and the motor starts to act as a pump.
To get a suitable stopping time, the right
valve and the brake valve are working
together. The right valve closes and the
oil is forced through the brake valve,
which ensure a pressure of 10 bar
(adjustable).
This will consume the energy from the
tools, which will stop smooth and fast.
From the brake valve, the oil returns to
the tank via the cooler.
