EXTERIOR FEATURES
TOWING HITCH
EXTERIOR SIDES
On the rear of the Allegro Bus is a Class 3,
15,000-pound towing hitch (Figure 10-1) capable
of handling a tongue weight of 1,500 pounds.
Th is hitch is installed for towing a passenger car
to be used when the vehicle is parked. Th e wire
connector installed with this hitch is a standard,
seven-pin connector. (Refer to page 66, fi gure
9-12)
Th e sides (Figure 10-2) of your Alle-
gro Bus are constructed of gel-coat-
ed fi berglass.
To add to this feature, the end caps
are also gel-coated fi berglass. To
clean these fi berglass surfaces, only
use warm water and a mild cleanser;
gently wash with so ft cloths. Use of
sti ff bristle brushes or other harsh
abrasives may cause scratches in the
fi berglass surfaces.

Spacious storage compartments are located on the exterior sides of your Allegro Bus. Th ese external
compartments provide ample, additional space for your belongings while you are traveling. When
stowing materials in these storage compartments, try to “balance” the resultant weight load from front
to rear and from side to side—this will keep the center of gravity of the motor home essentially un-
changed and should not adversely a ff ect the handling characteristics of the motor home when it is in
motion.
