MOBILEYE COLLISION AVOIDANCE SYSTEM
Th
e Allegro Bus may be equipped with an optional Mobileye collision
avoidance system that aids drivers in avoiding accidents.
1. Forward collision warning indicates when a car, truck or motorcycle
in the same lane is detected.
2. Lane departure warning indicators are active abive 34MPH and if
turn signals are not used when changing lanes.
3. Headway monitoring and warning is active above 19 MPH and
displays the number of seconds to the vehicle directly in front of you
whenever that distance/time becomes 2.5 seconds or less.
4. Pedestrian and bicycle collision warning indicators are active under 31 MPH.
5. Intelligent high beam controls automatically switch headlights from low beam to high beam on dark
roads without tra

c.
6. Speed limit indication is active at any speed and noti

that the standard hydraulic leveling system is not selected, then press AUTO.
If the level controller will not go into AUTO mode, it is most likely because the vehicle’s parking brake
has not been applied, the vehicle is in gear, or the ignition is o
ff
.
NOTE:
Due to the sensitivity of the leveling sensors, any noticeable movements within the vehicle can
cause di
ffi
culty while leveling is in process.
Th
erefore, if you are inside the vehicle while it is leveling,
please sit quietly or walk lightly.
When the AUTO button is pressed the AUTO indicator
fl
ashes until the cycle is complete.
Th
en the
indicator remains on.
Th
e system
fi
rst detects the lowest corner of the vehicle then lowers the remain-
ing corners to it. If the system determines that it is unable to lower the vehicle to level, any corners that
are low will then be raised to the level of the highest corner. If the system is unable to achieve level, the
SLOPE indicator will be illuminated.
Once leveling is complete (a
ft
er 20 seconds), the system goes into “low power” mode indicated by the
occasional
fl
ashing of the AUTO and POWER indicators.
Th
e system will awaken periodically to re-
check level (every 2 hours by default). If this is not desired, simply turn the system o
ff
when leveling
has completed.
For more information on the air leveling system please refer to the speci
fi
c manufacturer’s literature
located in the Owner’s Information Package.
