7. Maintenance
7.1 General information
The MultiSafe is completely maintenance-free. Nevertheless, observe the following information in
order to maintain safe operation:
We recommend a solid casing for transportation.
The casing and the test probes can be cleaned with clear water (without detergents) or with a cloth
dampened with soapy water.
7.2 Repeated inspection
Repeated inspection with the DSP HS36 may not exceed the time-limit of 6 years. Depending on operati-
on conditions and frequency, a previous inspection may be recommendable. The date of the next repea-
ted examination is marked on the test label at the side of the display unit.

back side of the device. For repeated examination the device has to be send to the manufacturer.
8. Repair
Repair is only allowed by the manufacturer or explicitly authorised repair shops.
In case of damage, failure of the self-test or for detailed inspection/calibration please contact
or send the device back to the manufacturer with a description of failure.
9. Limited warranty and limitation of liability
By continuous quality checks and production controls, most modern electronics and high quality
materials we guarantee that the tester will be free from defects in material and workmanship for two
years. This warranty does not cover batteries, improper handling, improper use, opening the housing,
improper storage or damage from accidents.
No other warranties such as fitness for a particular purpose will be given.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damage or loss arising from any cause
whatsoever.
10. Accessories
We recommend a solid casing for transportation and secure storage.
