B. Door Removal (IPL, Figure 10001)

NOTE: To release outer wrap (10) from chassis (5), remove eighteen screws (15).

(1) Remove outer door cover (25) by removing ten screws (30).

NOTE: Note position and quantities of teflon washers before removing door.

(2) Use a screwdriver in the slot provided at the top of the hinge shaft to keep

the hinge shaft (45) from turning. Remove nut (35) and flatwasher (40) to
release hinge shaft (45). Slide hinge shaft upwards and remove from top.
Retain door assembly (20) and retain teflon spacers (50). Note position and
quantities.

SUBTASK 25-30-51-00-003-A01

A. Control Panel Removal (IPL, Figure 10001)

(1) Remove front panel (55) by removing six screws (60). Pull out gently.

(2) Squeeze release tabs on the connector housing, 15 pin (65, 70) and unplug

cable from control panel assembly.

(3) Unplug control panel overlay (95) connector from PCB assembly (75).

(4) Remove PCB assembly (75) by removing locknuts (80) and flatwashers (85).

(5) Remove spacers (90).

(6) If necessary, remove the control panel overlay (95). Remove screws (105),

locknut (110) and flatwasher (115) to remove top and bottom mounting plates
(120, 125).

NOTE: Remove control panel overlay ONLY if replacement of the control panel overlay

is necessary. The control panel overlay is destroyed when it is removed, and a
new assembly must be installed.
