This user manual is the most important element to prevent any damages and risks during the use and servicing of
your bike. It is provided to give you the most important information on your bike and to give you helpful tips over the
entire life of your bike. In case of doubt or uncertainty, the steelworks service or a competent bicycle mechanic must
be consulted.
Please read this user manual carefully before taking the first ride on your new bike and make sure you understand
everything. Ensure that third-party users are also informed about the contents of this user manual and that they
understand and follow all instructions.
Keep this user manual for future reference. If you sell or give away your bike, please include this user manual.

1.1 EXPLANATION OF SYMBOLS USED
DANGER
…indicates a hazard with a high level of risk which, if not avoided, will result in death or serious injury.
CAUTION
…indicates a hazard with a low level of risk which, if not avoided, may result in minor or moderate injury.
NOTE
… indicates a potentially hazardous situation that may result in damage to property.
1.2 TARGET
GROUP
The target group of this user manual is you, the owner of the steelworks road bike. Assembly and service works
require basic knowledge in bicycle technology. In case of doubt or uncertainty, the steelworks service or a competent
bicycle mechanic must be consulted.
Incorrect handling or incorrect service of your bike can lead to serious accidents with fatal consequences!

USER MANUALS SUPPLIED BY COMPONENT MANUFACTURERS
This user manual contains all information you need for a safe use of your bike.
In addition to this user manual, your bike may be accompanied by some product information or user manuals
from various component manufacturers. If need be, you can use those documents for further information on the
respective product, its assembly and setup. The user manuals of some manufacturers might only be available online.
1.4 TOOLS
Work on the bike may only be carried out with suitable tools. Screw connections must be tightened to a defined
torque using a torque wrench.
The use of the supplied torque wrench is explained in the quick start guide of your bike.
A proper installation and removal of components can only be guaranteed when using perfectly functioning and
undamaged tools.
