RJ11 Phone Port for Standard Call
Symptoms
Descriptions / Remedial Actions
Unable to make outgoing
call
Make sure that there is dial tone before making the call.
For the case of busy tone,
o
Ensure that the line is not engaged by any other
telephone services.
o
Ensure that all other telephony devices are hung
up properly.
For the case of no dial tone,
o
Ensure that the phone line is connected to the
phone port of the BDU.
Hang up and retry the call again.
Unable to receive
incoming call
Ensure that the line is not engaged by any other telephony
devices.
Ensure that all other telephony devices are hung up
properly.
Ensure proper BDU LED states.
Ensure the phone ports are configured correctly.
Distorted audio during
outgoing/incoming call
The audio may clip when use with some phones in high
volume. Please lower the volume of the phone in such
situation.
Please temporarily disconnect any data connection since
high throughput may affect the quality of the audio.
Hang up and retry the call again.
