IP Handset menus
To use a PIN code for the handset
If a PIN code is defined for the handset, it must be entered at start up and
when the screensaver is active.
Note that you
do not have to enter the PIN
to:
•
make emergency calls. You can type the emergency number in the PIN
code screen.
•
answer the phone when it is ringing.
For information on how to set up the PIN code for the handset, see the next
section.
To set up the PIN code for the handset
To set up the PIN code for the handset, do as follows:
1. From the
Settings
menu, select
PIN code
.
Note
There may be 2 PIN codes for the system:
•
one for the BGAN terminal (SIM PIN, described in
Establishing a
connection
on page 22) and
•
one for the IP Handset (described in this section)
Important
If you have entered a wrong PIN code 5 times, the handset is
locked! Contact your distributor for an unblocking code.
