Use a 4 mm hex key or ball driver to remove the four cap screws on the corners of the side plate, then remove the
side plate.

The SLS401/402 is equipped with a dummy bulb to secure the top bulb holder during transportation. Loosen the
thumb screws on top and bottom bulb holder by turning counterclockwise and remove the dummy bulb. Keep the
dummy bulb for future use.
Carefully take out the bulb from its original package. ALWAYS hold the bulb at its electrodes. Avoid holding the
glass envelope. Always wear protective gloves when handling the bulb.
