3.2.2 The ‘Connection’ menu

‘Connect’ will open the connection to a TXP mainframe
•
‘Disconnect’ interrupts this connection.
After clicking ‘Connect’, the following screen opens:
Enter the IP Address of your TXP mainframe (this address is given to the TXP in the
initialization process with the TXP-Administrator program) and if necessary (ask your
system operator) also the port number and a timeout value under ‘Advanced’:
The timeout value is the wait-time after which the program card yields a connection
error if the LS does not respond.
