DCx camera

The following functions allow to control Binning and Subsampling of an image.

Normal
Provides normal operation, binning and subsampling deactivated.
2x / 3x / 4x / 5x / 6x / 8x binning:
2 to 8 pixels each are combined into one new pixel. Image resolution decreases by this factor.
Binning with CCD cameras increases sensitivity by adding pixle intensity values. Frame rate can
be increased by binning.

2x / 3x / 4x / 5x / 6x / 8x / 16x subsampling
Subsampling takes in account only every 2nd (3rd, ... 16th) pixel is taken into account in
horizontal direction. This procedure reduces image width accordingly and increases frame rate.
Subsampling does not change sensitivity.

Binning and subsampling availability depends on the camera type and is  shown in the software after
a  camera  is  recognized.  Some  color  models  can  offer  only  a  monochrome  binning  and/or
subsampling. In this  case,  the color information is  lost.  Vice versa,  some monochrome models  are
capable for color binning / subsampling only, which may lead to image artefacts.

Mirror left/right (up/down)
This option flips the image horizontally (vertically). With the CCD models this is done by software,
CMOS cameras have an according sensor chip feature.

Default

All values are reset to the default settings.
