3.8.3

MP (Media Player)

In

MP Mode

the Effects Subpanel serves for controlling external machines. This can

be any type of device, which can be controlled by one of the machine control protocols,
like video/audio tape machines, hard disk recorders, etc.

To select the desired machine for control, either toggle through the available machines
by repeatedly pressing the MP button, or hold down the MP button and select the
desired machine number.

The display shows the machine number, status and the timecode.

In

MP Mode

each digit button in the keypad represent a tape motion command. The

command is indicated by a character or a graphical symbol on the numeric keypad.
