Remote control
The remote control which is supplied with your TV/DVD can be used to navigate through the menus and
adjust all the routine settings.The remote control may vary according to the TV/DVD model.
TV functions
The buttons on the front of your TV/DVD have the same functions as the corresponding buttons on the
remote control.
Press the
OPEN
/
CLOSE
button on the front of the set or press the
STOP
button on the remote control for
several seconds to open and close the disc tray.
Standby / quit standby.
To access DVD mode.
To access VCR mode.
To access TV mode.
Press this button to control the television.
To control the volume.
To switch the sound off and back on again.
To return to the previous menu.
To change channels.
To close a menu.
To access the
OVERVIEW menu.
To select menu options.
To set functions, change values, enable and disable functions.
4/3 models: to select the picture format.
16/9 models: to select the picture format or zoom.
To confirm a selection.
Coloured buttons:
(red button) picture preset settings
(green button) turn off timer
(yellow button) status information
(blue button)
weather information
(purple button) Teletext
The coloured buttons can also be used for operating Teletext.
To select a channel by its number.
To input numeric values and alphabetic characters.
To select an appliance connected to an AV socket.
