GEAR PUMP 1.2
Disassembly 1300/135
Remove the gear pump as outlined on page 1-6.
Work in a clean area. Thoroughly clean the outside of the
gear pump before disassembly. Remove the adapter
fittings from the gear pump and drain the oil.

Remove the key from the drive gear if so equipped.

Using a grease pencil or equivalent, place a mark
across the front plate, body and back plate to assure
proper alignment when reassembling.

Place the gear pump in a vise with the shaft side up.

Remove the cap screws and washers retaining the
pump sections together. (fig. C2089)

Remove the gear pump from the vise. Tap the shaft
using a plastic hammer to separate the front plate from
the back plate. The body will remain intact with one of
the plates. (fig. C1895)

Remove the O - Ring seal from the back plate. (fig.
C1896)
