Create your own dish by using a combination method of steam, boil,
sauté, bake or reheat. The rice cooker will not disappoint cooks and
you’ll soon find it to be a magnificent addition to your kitchen.
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging.
• Check that all parts are enclosed in the package and that the unit is
not damaged.
• Peel off any adhesive labels or stickers from your rice cooker.
• Wash the lid, rice pot, measuring cup and rice paddle in warm, soapy
water before first use.
• Rinse and dry thoroughly with a dry cloth.
HOW TO USE
1. Using the supplied plastic measuring cup, measure the amount of
rice that you would like to cook.
2. Rinse the rice until the water is reasonably clear. This will remove the
surface starch on the rice.
3. Add water according to the amount of rice to be cooked. (Refer to
Cooking Chart within the manual).
4. Wipe the outside of the rice pot completely dry before placing it into
the rice cooker-this will prevent damage to the mechanics of the
appliance and will prevent crackling noises while the unit heats up.
5. Place the rice pot back into the rice cooker.
6. Place the glass lid.
NOTE:
Do not operate the rice cooker without
replacing the glass lid as burns or other serious injuries may occur.
7. To cook the rice, plug the Rice cooker into a wall outlet and press the
lever down at the front of the rice cooker, it begins as soon as the light
illuminates. Cooking time will depend on the type and amount of rice
being cooked.
8. When the cooking process is completed, the KEEP WARM indicator
